here is my first run in the sti. Ill make some more vids once I get back into town after the holidays. This was the first time I went through the gears so it was kinda slow, but here it is

ps, here is a DARK vid, but this is my viper going through the gears. I do 1-2 easy but powershift 2-3 and 3-4. Just listen!

Good **** man. You have the combo I am going for haha. Plan on getting a 2001 Viper GTS blue with white stripes in the near future to add to my STi, I love those cars. How long have you had your Viper and how do you like it? I had a friend in Fort Collins when I use to live there (just moved to Ohio from Fort Collins, lived in Collins for 7 years) that had 2 vipers, one was supercharged and the other was twin turboed both laying down more than 1000 RWHP. Sick cars.

Blew the shift from 2nd to 3rd but didnt get another chance to give it a go cause too much traffic that night.

I like that article. Although i always rest my hand on the lever when i put around town.

Don't forget the shifter is supposed to be a free object, bumping around with the tranny and such, so if you rest your hand on the shifter, you're holding it in place when it wants to move in place. If I have to put my hand down, I just hold the ebreak (and no, I won't just yank it).

actually, if you watch the vid I really dont "rest" my hand on the knob. I have it around it but after I shift to third, my hand is actually above the shifter, then I slap it to 4th.

Ill make another vid when I get back into town

sti speed... those cars sound awefully familiar... it seems as if I know that guy or something!
the black car puts down 720 and the gray one put down 940 on the medium boost setting
