| Amateur STI Driver |  Lap of Donington Park, UK in O4 STI 25th was Track Day at Donington Park, UK. Beautiful track that is possibly best known for World Superbike competitions...means nice surface with lots of run off. Covered 104 track miles and the Subaru didn't miss a beat-as usual. Even my Hawk HP+ pads held up well...the all season radials showed some wear, but nothing like the squawking they give! :-) Subie TV The subie was nearly tops in intermediate with even fun between a E36 European Evolution (US BMW M3 with 321 hp six OEM) and Ford Focus RS (turbo and AWD from Ford OEM). Great fun. By the way, I spent $175 in fuel for a $220 entry fee event. Americans should count their lucky stars for cheap fuel! :-) This ad is not endorsed by this member. I expect the actual races get the extra loop...no worries...didn't miss it-great track! I would love to do the track again-much still to improve on.  |

| Amateur STI Driver | Re: Lap of Donington Park, UK in O4 STI Thanks...the squeal actually assists a bit on telling if you are carrying thru the corner properly-ie nice solid squeal for the entire corner or was is it inconsistent. I was rather inconsistent... That is what you get for Pirelli P Zero Nero's...400 tread wear. Still a blast and half! |
