my jobs pretty repetitive and it does get really old really fast. I mean the first few weeks its cool and exciting and new then it becomes routine and boring

Hmm. I build robots that build computer chips and I only have a High School degree..

Sometimes its about what you can do, and knowing the right person to get your foot in the door.

Sometimes it takes a college degree to get your foot in the door. But that piece of paper does not make you a better person.

Not to start an argument or anything, I mean I agree that today you pretty much need a college degree to get a good job, and I am currently working full time and going to college full time, but you cant judge the guy like that. Maybe he is in college now, and he needs a job to pay for it? I would assume that Subaru pays more than minimum wage to guys like this, and although he hates his job, he is probably not going to be there forever.

This is just my assumption considering he seems to be a young guy.

Personally I think the video is pretty funny. There are not many people that like their jobs, and most of them just suck it up and never say anything about it. Any assembly line is going to suck, anything that is that repetitive is going to suck.

other than tossing a torque wrench around, i dont see what the problem is... according to his description in the vid, it seems like the guy is doing what he is supposed to be doing.
