Pretty boring, just like 150mph.

Driving doesn't even get exciting until 165...

Nuts? Bah!

Safety not a concern? Bah!

Obviously they're on the Autobahn. Extended time at high speed is not unusual.

that was cool... I remember going that fast for just a few seconds in the STi, and it was freaking adrenaline pumping fun. I wish I could drive on the AutoBaun.

whats with all this "safety" talk. other than the camera which he was obviously not trying to get "good" shots with, but merely aiming in the general direction of what he wanted to record.. whats unsafe about speed?
why do people assume that you will just crash for no reason just because you are travelling quickly? crashes occur due to mechanical failure or driver error.. thats it. there is no magical crash speed. high speed car travel is very safe.
speed only determines the extent of the injuries if a crash happens.

Speeding is not driver error?

Ok, does anyone else hear that whine/hum coming from his car in the video?

My STI around 130-140 does that exact same HUM/WHINE. (This was on a closed course, mind you)

To the Op That was in Turkey not Germany. Germany is not the only country that has autobahns.

So yeah no speed limit in autobahns. Bribing works even if you get pulled over

I've done alot of driving on the Autobahn (Two deployments with the USAF to Italy and then Germany). Theres alot of sections of the Autobahn with posted speed limits. Think about it, the road has to bend every so often, so a person doing 150+ into a curve isn't a good thing. The Polzei are pretty strict, if you get a ticket you have to pay the fine on the spot. They will escort you to a ATM if you dont have the cash on you. I worked with them a few times, they are like old school cops aka like crack skulls.
My turbo-diesel Romeo did pretty good on the Autobahn. My FourFor Smartcar didn't do so well.
