Default NRG Adjustable XL Seatbelt Harness Bars!!

So after alot of convincing, I was finally able to get NRG to produce some harness bars for you guys. I really liked the Sparco harness bar, so we decided to use that one as our guide. The NRG harness is bar is adjustable at the mounting point where it mounts to the upper side pillars. Each kit comes complete with an extension thats about 4" long, allowing the harness bar to sit further back. In addition, the bar can be mounted without the use of the extension. In addition, the placement of the support bars allows for the retention of the upgraded center console. The bars come powdercoated silver from the factory. Unfortunately, they do not offer the bars in any other colors at the moment. Here are some pics of it installed...

Mounted with the XL Extension....

Mounted without the Extension...

And finally pics of the side supports...

Now for the pricing...regular retail pricing from NRG is $299 + Shipping...

For this group buy to go through, I will need at least 10 buyers....
10-20= $225 shipped
20+ = $200 shipped
**Shipping is to the lower 48 only, all others please inquire.

I shall require a $50 deposit. The remainder balance is due upon reaching our minimum number of participants. Please feel free to post any questions or concerns. Thanks!!

Quick question here. When using this bar, do the OEM seatbelts really have to be dismounted ?

no they dont. I left the oem belts off in the picture because we were just test-fitting the bar.

I may be interested...

I have to do some more research in learning how much structural integrity the sti roof has in case of a rollover. I'd hate to have a rollover and have the roof crush in. I am currently deciding between a harness bar and an autopower street/sport bolt in roll bar.

Do you have any information on the safety of these harness bars?

Harness bars are not designed like roll bars are. If you are in the market for something that will protect you the case of a roll-over, a roll-cage is what you want, as harness bars are just that and serve no other purpose (except maybe as a camera mount as well).
