ABOUT SUMITOMO HTR-Z II
The Sumitomo HTRZ II is an Ultra High Performance Summer radial designed to blend appearance, performance and comfort. This combination makes the HTRZ II appropriate for many of today's sporty cars because it provides a unique look with a size lineup of 17" and 18" rim diameter "Plus Two" and "Plus Three" fitments. Like all summer tires, the HTRZ II is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

On the outside the HTRZ II's tread pattern features extra wide, arched tread blocks to enhance dry road traction and handling. The blocks vary in size and shape to help minimize noise levels and are separated by Multi Direction Water Channels to help increase wet traction and resist hydroplaning. On the inside the HTRZ II features two steel belts with spirally-wrapped Jointless Nylon Band reinforcement for high-speed durability and predictable handling while minimizing weight and improving ride uniformity. The lower sidewall features Single Strand Beads for improved wheel fit and Wheel Flange Guards to help protect alloy wheels from curb damage.

can you please tell me why no one has replied to my PM or the 3 emails I've sent to sales@gruppe-s.com (one in nov, one in dec and one in jan.) Originally I chaulked it up to spam filters, but no one has replied to my PM here or on the other subaru forums.

I've been trying for months to get prices on CE28N in 17x8, or 8.5 or 9. Time Attack color or silver or hyperblack or mercury silver, etc.... whatever they call it. Needs to be the right offset to clear the brakes and fenderwheels on a NON-lowered 07 sti.

Also considering the advan RGII or the Weds TC105N and would apprecaite prices on them as well.

PS. Need prices on wheels only, no tires needed.

Oh, I see. Can you please explain why a customer who chooses to communicate via the most efficient means is denied a quote on wheels? Could it be you don't want a written record of what was quoted? So you can say one thing, and then charge something different and the customer has no written record of what was originally promised?

Anyone over 30 years old knows, "Always get it in writing." Good advice.

You should also put that on your contact page on your website as well.

Please explain this to me, I'd really like to hear your explanation.

Hi, I'm sorry about our policy of phone quotations only. The reason we are offering phone quotations only is because we are offering the prices far below what the manufacturers are comfortable with and don't want to get ourselves in trouble with our customers cutting and pasting our quotations to other dealers and then having that e-mail forwarded to the manufacturers (this actually happens all the time). It's the same reason you will sometimes see ads for say televisions that will not mention the brand of television.

Antitrust laws prohibit price fixing. No one has the authority to dictate what you sell for.

If I call and get a price of $X, what is there to stop you from charging $X+100? I have nothing to show to the credit card company to support what I claim was the price. Normally I would have no problem calling a business to get a quote. However, your insistence on non-committal communications starts the suspicion. In the past I've seen companies send the wrong item and claim that's what the customer ordered. W/o anything in writing, the buyer is at the mercy of the seller. Even credit card protection laws will not protect the cardholder in such a situation.

I've had situations where I bought computer equipment and they sent the wrong motherboard. I called and was told the motherboard was the latest version and so that's what I ordered. But when it came it was last years model. On the mb in question there was a huge difference in performance between the versions. Both had the same model and price, but I was supposed to get the latest version but didn't. In such a situation, there is no recorse.

So what if I call and get a price. Are you willing to fax a price quote showing the exact item, size, color, offset, etc. ordered with price and shipping?
