This is the first group buy for the Type-25 coilovers. They do not come with camber plates or top hats, but they do come with the strut adjuster extensions for the rear. The front spring rate is 343lbs/in and the rear is 171lbs/in. After much thinking and discussion with the new master distributor we have opted to indeed do the conical rear springs instead of a standard barrel spring.

Here's the details on how this group buy is going to work:

• We will be doing these in rounds of 10 units.
• Each round will last about 2 weeks.
• Once we don't fill all 10 slots in that time frame we will honor those last few, but the group buys will end.
• A new round of group buy will not start until the previous one has been completed.
• A 50% deposit is required. You can make your deposit through our site via the link below. No deposit means you do not get on the list.
• When you place your deposit you must give us your screenname and year of STi in the comments. The screenname is so we can update the list, and the year is so we know which style knuckle attachment you need.
• Let me say that again - you MUST MUST MUST tell us what year you have. (if you've done anything funky like converted your 04 front hubs to 05 style then let us know that).
• These are hand built as the orders come in. The order will not be placed until the close of this group buy (10 units or 2 weeks). After that it will take some time for them to be built, and get to us. I will update with timing as I learn details on the build progress.
• The remainder of the GB price will be due before your units ship.

Regular price on these is $2000 US. GB price will be $1800 with shipping in the US included.

Yeah, I was hoping this would be more successful so that I would have it as an option when I'm ready to spend the money this spring on new dampers.

I think with the popularity of Ohlins, the growing pool of KW owners, and the upcoming release of RCE coilovers have made the pool of people with the money to put down $1800 shrink.

Plus, when you think of the owner who would move to coilovers over their struts, they're probably looking for track performance more than a S-M car?

Not sure, but I hope you get more interest in the coming days. The more options for the consumer, the better.

BTW, we're talking street/track. Not autoX. We have plans for that.
