Default A new TiC experimental group buy

Hey guys, here's the deal. A long time ago we used to group buys of some pretty good packages. Basically, the deal with this - we'd set up a killer price on a bundle, and if it sold we'd do another group buy.

What happened was this - folks would suggest a bundle, we'd figure out the pricing to make a good deal, and we'd put it up here. It was going great until a number of folks asked us for a bundle, we put it together, held the parts from inventory for it, and sold 0 of them. None. It kinda hurt our feelings, and really hurt some inventory turnover as I was turning away regular sales so they wouldn't cut into the parts we held to one side. After that we decided we weren't going to do any more group buys for a long time.

After the group buy of the 6MT pivot bushings it seems that there may be some interest for TiC group buys, so we're going to try an experiment. If this goes well, then we'll start doing group buys here again.

Here's what we've come up with:

The TiC Rabid Rabbit bundle. It gets you the following:
- TiC Giuyngmyo fender cowl braces
- TiC Klunk Killer (it's made up of the TiC rear diff mount bushings and the Kartboy rear subframe outrigger bushings)

Here's the pics:
TiC Klunk Killer:

(yeah, it's a bad pic. I'm not a photographer by any means):

Here's the rules for the group buy:

- There are only 10 bundles
- This GB closes at midnight on Sept. 6th
- There will be no holds and no substitutions
- If this goes well we will make this a regular product, but it has to go well.
- When you order tell me your screenname so I can put you on the list (if you don't I get to give you a nickname)
- I will put your order status after your name on the list
- These ship as the orders come in. None of that hold them all until everyone has ordered garbage.

So, the big question - what's the price? $150 shipped for free in the US.

Like anything it really depends on how handy you are with a wrench. If you're not at all handy then it'll take longer. Read through the product descriptions for each part on our site. We have either instructions or links to instructions for each.

What I keep waiting for is a group of folks in an area to decide a bunch of them are going to buy a package and have an install day to do them all at once. That way you can set up an "assembly line" kinda deal, and get some folks there with varying degrees of experience.

Wow, great deal! I slowly pieced that setup together myself individually (though a few different orders with TiC) and it cost me a lot more. Jump on this one people!

i'm a total newb at installing stuff in general. i had my mechanic do the klunk killer, so i can't say how hard that is to put on. i'm doing the cowl braces myself. i've got one brace on, but the other side is not in yet. the first side took me forever because one of the bolts refused to come out easily. when it did, the threads of the bolts were damaged. looks like it was not installed properly at the factory. once the oem brace was out though, installing the tic brace was a breeze. the other side should be much easier as long as the bolts don't give me too much trouble.

Let me guess - upper-most bolt. Do this - undo the other three bolts, and then use the stock brace as a "wrench" to break that top one loose.

no, that one was actually really easy. i did exactly as you said for that one. it was the top bolt by the door hinge that gave me problems. i got that sucker 90% out and it still took hercules like strength to turn the bolt. the other bolts i could undo with my hand once they were broken free, but not this one. stupid thing took an hour to get out.

Two products that I was already tempted to buy. Looks like I'll be picking up this package soon.
