IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (8) | Boost(mechanical), EGT(electronic), Oil Press(electronic) - $179.95 ![]() After a run of about 100 ProSport gauges last year, we decided we'd bring in their new line for 2006. In the 100 gauges or so we went through last year we warrantied only one of them which speaks well to the long term quality of the gauges and the sending units they include. The 2006 ProSport line up has reworked lighting and face designs that are nice and clean with just a tinge of extra style. STi owners will like the full black-out effect. Everyone should like the switchable lighting. These gauges support White and Amber(more amber than red) and can be wired to stay white or amber all the time or can be set to switch between white/amber or amber/white when turning on your headlights. You could also get creative and wire them up for one color on each side of a pod and another color in the middle. Hey it's just a thought. Each gauges also comes complete with a 52mm gauge visor to help cut down on the daylight glare and ambiant light wash out. We have a limited supply of these gagues in stock right now. They are warrantied for a 1 year on the gauges themselves and the sending units. I consider these another attractive alternative to something like Autometer Sport-Comps. Same general price range with some extra pizzaz. Also, ProSport Oil Pressure sending units are slightly smaller than average and should be a good fit to the galley plug for install. | Amateur STI Driver | How close is the gauge color to the sti gauge cluster color? Also how do the colors compare to the v1 clarity gauges you had before and the V2 you have coming out in a couple months? |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (8) | Please note a major update on the price. No, there is absolutely nothing wrong with these gauges. ProSport is just trying to make a name in the US where they have not done much business yet. In comparison with the Clarity gauges, outside of the difference in general style, the ProSports are more Amber than Red and might be a better STi match, thoguh I have not gone up close and personal yet to compare. There are a few other differences as well. The Clarity gauges have almuminum houses rather than plastic(no biggo really, the plastics are the same quality as seen on Autometer and others), and the ProSports use 8 LEDs, where the Clarity's use 12 LEDs. The Clarity gauges offer a bit better daylight visability over the ProSpport, but the ProSports due come with the 52mm visors. So there are the details. ProSport gauges purchased through Daddy's SCP are warrantied directly through Daddy's SCP as well. Will post more updates as I have them. We have 20 sets available. |

But that price isn't wholesale .. that's a regular retail price that anyone off the street can get. I would have to think that vendors can buy it for less than that with wholesale prices... It took me 2 seconds to google the gauges and that's how I found the site. I posted it to let everyone know that was considering these (like I am) If he can get a better price - Great - I will be more than happy to buy fom him .. If not, sorry I am not giving away $30 just because he has to run a business. I can find better things to do with my money than give it away. | |

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | I bought these direct from ProSPort (they are in St. Petersburg, FL) HEre is a pic fresh after install tonight. They are a bit oranger than the cluster, but for the price, I am not complaining... Especially since I can sell my stock boost guiage for half of what these cost me.... O, and the electrical gauges (Oil pressure and EGT) do a full sweep on startup, and blackout when powered off... Pics (sorry, for the blur) ![]() ![]() UK |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2005 Trader Rating: (4) | Anyone try to open these up to black out the Prosport logo? These would look much better without the logo. Maybe some black nailpolish on the back side of the number screen. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (8) | Guys, If anyone is looking for ProSports gauges we do have them and will match the direct ProSport price on a 3 gauge combo. platinum_sti - we'll take care of you on the price difference you paid. The story is interesting on this. Imtronics was an import broker who we traded some conversations with about 8 months ago when we were looking form an OEM to manufacture for our gauges. While in that search we sampled gauges from many manufacturers and sold through some ProSport at that time while sampling theirs. When the folks at Imtronics were taking a trip oversees to meet with some OEMs they pinged me for some contacts and I gave them ProSports. It's many months later and low and behond they are now representing them. Now if ProSport/Imtronics could have told me that I could have saved on the air freight we spent to bring these in directly. Go figure. I guess that's that last time I'll share my business contacts ![]() Relative to price they are very good gauges. I too wish the logo was smaller, but the overall design is still clean. You should take care with where you install them. My personal suggestion will alwasy be an ATi pod. If you don't you can easily get wash out during sunny days. Even our Clarity gauges can get some washout on bright sunny days but the ProSports use fewer LEDs in the backlight so the contrast is not as bright as the Clarity gauges. You can see this easily in the brightness of the needle. But, again, relative to the price they are excellent and I would highly recommend them. They are a bit more on the Amber side than the Red side. Folks have asked me if the current Clarity or ProSport are a better overall STi match and so far I think the Clarity gauges are, though neither is 100% perfect. (but pretty close) We've got the gauges in stock as well as ATi pods. Put "iwsti" in the Customer Notes and we'll do them for the same $150 for the trio and we will discount the ATi pod if you add one to the cart, to $119.95. We'll have sandwich adapters back in end of April. You'll also be happy to hear we're getting a couple hundred of extra gaskets for the sandwich adapters. We're just thinking ahead because eventually the gaskets due where out. We've seen post to this regard with other brands so we're taking the measure now so we can supply gaskets to those that buy their sandwich adapters from us. There will be an opportunity to add a 4 pack of gaskets to your orders for a small extra charge. Rich Rich This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad.
