Default NRG Hood Struts! No Drilling! Bolt On! 10/6/05 Update! 10/10/05 DEADLINE!

Tired of lifting that o so heavy hood? Tired of grabbing that extremely hot hood prop? Want to have the o so cool bling factor of some hood struts? Well we hav ea deal for you then! ok ok enough with the questions.

NEW VIDEO REVIEW FROM THE GUYS AT

We are proud to offer the brand new NRG Hood Struts for the 02+ Impreza (Fits all impreza/wrx/sti). These babies will bolt right in without any modification needed to make it fit (FINALLY)! I know I, along with quite a few others have been waiting for a solution like this so we can ditch the hood prop and just have the hood hold itself open. Allowing for it to be easier to work under the hood without the prop in the way, very cool bling factor, and just a nice setup to have at a terrific price! They are available in polishED color right now and we have a good # of them coming in now. There are plenty of available and we believe this will be an awesome seller. As soon as they arrive I will install one and let you guys know. They say it directly bolts right on and theres not a problem at all, so this should be an awesome deal!

Deadline is Monday, October 10th! Please have your funds and everything ready by then. If you want to be apart of this group buy and do not have the funds ready, we are willing to work this out for you guys, just PM us or Email us: rschwarze@staticxmotorsports.com

A very nice addition to your STI without the crazy price. Not to mention it will be bolt on so you can drop it in and enjoy the wonderful ability to let your hood raise itself ! I will have more pics when they arrive and get them installed! Will not work on a carbon fiber hood I am told.

Thanks guys! If you have any questions feel free to ask!

any specifics as to why it would be a no-go for CF hoods?

I know my question is kinda pre-mature since you don't even have one on hand yet....but still i ask

They are supposed to be true bolt on. No deposit needed, just sign up . They should be coming in soon I'd like to think. He said he'd have tracking info for me tomorrow on my batch coming in.

Thanks guys!

most carbon fiber hoods are not of good quality and build as people may think...the force of the struts while opening the hood may cause the hood to crack at points of mounting...this applies to closing the hood as well, as there is a bit of initial force needed to close it....testing and fitment of the dampers were performed on OEM hoods, and thus the use of the dampers on carbon fiber hoods is not recommended and is mentioned as a disclaimer to customers....

MUFDVR, I believe that is their engine torque dampener that is in the picture.

Just got the tracking # for the first batch. As you can see they are definitely bolt on and we will do a step by step install for everyone. If you would like to be apart of the group buy, please sign up now via post, pm, email (rschwarze@staticxmotorsports.com) so that we can get this rolling. Group buy ends: October 10, 2005. They will be stocked for normal sale after then. Thank you!
