Hi everyone,

For those who were waiting for pictures of the Mirror finish, here is a picture that describes the finish better than any words I can use!

Highly polished finish, as strong and resistant as any of our finishes available.

Please note that the Gunmetal finish shift knobs all sold the same day we had them back from the finishing supplier.

Is the 2 engraving properly aligned/centered, the 2 seems out of proportion and at a slight angle??.

Hi,

Depending on the angle you look at the shift knob, the numbers on the extreme edges can seem to be at an angle because of the spherical surface, but when you look straight down at it they are straight.

how much more does it weigh compared to the stocker?

Can you post a pic at a different angle, so far all pics I've seen show a weird "2"

Hi,

The stock STi shift knob (2004) weigh in at 198 grams, the M1 Abrams RL is 400 grams.

how would you' keep this clan! i would really like one, but with black letters if possible!

I use a microfiber cloth and glass cleaner to keep the mirror shift knob clean. As for the black engraving, members have had good luck with an ultrafine sharpie. I like to use nail polish because you can put it on thick and wipe off the excess. If you decide to chage the color you can use nail polish remover and re-paint it. There are so many nail polish colors to choose from also that it's easy to find exactly the right color.
