TiC SST Coilover GB/Special savings

As some of you may have noticed the price on the SST setup went up $200 for the batch that is on the way to us. This was due to the increase in costs of materials and the dropping value of the dollar. I have a post bouncing around on this somewhere.

We really hated to do the increase, but we were hit with it at the very last minute, and we were not happy about it. BUT thinking about it we turned around and did the same thing to you guys with the extra $200 on those.

That didn't sit right with us since we know that a number of folks have been saving their pennies for the old price point ever since the last batch sold out.

So, we've decided that we're going to take the hit, and offer a transition period.

The period is this -

5 sets of 5x100
5 sets of 5x114
Old price of 2200
Spring rates - 7/5 normal, but if you want the track/motorsport rates of 8/7 that's fine too. We'll work that out with you on an individual basis.

Here's the rules -

Deposit of $1500 required
Upon arrival of dampers we will put kits together and post up link for final payment
Upon final payment your set will ship
First 5 to deposit for either type get on the list

This will be open until noon EST on 4/18 OR until all slots are filled.

Actually, that setup goes for a good bit on the used market so you could do that.

As it is that's still a pretty darn nice setup so I wouldn't have any heartburn over keeping it.

No. I'm not being a jerk, but it's way too early. Right now AST is testing their setup of the 08. Once we get a set we test, make valving and rate changes, and test some more. On top of that I, and I don't think AST, have no idea of the price.

Hey there!
I'm very interested in these. I just had a few questions (and I figured I'd ask here so everyone benefitted!)

How are the road manors (since I have a decent commute) compared to the stock units? I know they'll be harsher, I'm just wondering how bad

Will we need tophats? What else do you recommend we pick up?

What is the drop (for an 04STI) F/R? I'm VERY happy to hear these will not slam my ride, but I'm curious how much drop to expect.
