If we were talking about one isolated case, you would be right. But without digging I managed to find three people who were unable to resolve their problems with you. As far as I can tell, all three people are completely unrelated. Then when the whole thing is brought public, instead of trying to do a little damage control, you come out and make things worse by actually arguing about it on a public forum. What makes it worse is that you got caught lying and continue to flat out deny it, although I haven't called Cobb personally to confirm this.

Yes, the only people who should be commenting on this are those who are involved, in private. I'm not entirely sure what prompted people to bring these issues public, but the second you let them do that, you opened the door for anybody to comment. Now you've probably got hundreds of Impreza enthusiasts on two different message boards who are very quick to recommend another engine builder over you. With all this drama floating around and your bad rep why wouldn't I want to buy an engine from somebody else? It isn't like you're the only game in town here.

Maybe this is some grand conspiracy designed to put you out of business. Maybe a few random people got together and just decided that they didn't like you for one reason or another. I don't know, and I don't care. I'm not making any accusations, and I'm not trying to start a fight... I'm just trying to post the (misinformed?) opinion of a random observer.
I didn't take anything you said negatively nor was I trying to insult you. Just thought I’d let you know

On the topic of verifying data, I encourage you to do so. It’s not for my own sake. It would be for yours. No matter what you buy and from whom (motors to MP3 players)… the more information you have the better and more comfortable you will be with your decision.

Lastly your third party observations are noted. Thanks. I mean that

Chris

Was it tried??? To a degree, most certainly YES it was tried. The question should be geared to, was it successful.

Look I don’t mind speaking about this stuff. I would like to maintain some integrity of this thread as it has deterred too much from its original post. However, if you want to ask well thought out, non threatening question and you want to communicate not yell or scream then you can PM me. For the record…No, I won’t throw Bruce under the bus. He is perfectly entitled to his own views.

if i was a owner or part owner of crawford i would try my best to sell out.. it truly seems that the "integrity" of the company is lost.. that sucks but thats what happens when you have people that dont care about their customers..
*disclaimer* this opinion of mine is based on hundred of threads and posts of crawford customers.. i promised myself i woudnt post in here again.. oh well.

youre not getting this. i don't want to open a crawford/i-speed thread and see any recounting of what has transpired between us. i'm not interested in reading your opinion about what has transpired. i know your opinion already. keep me out of your threads - period.

i am not posting in your thread because i have an agreement with management. it's the same deal as i have with the management at nasioc. so far, i'm keeping my end of the deal. don't confuse me with someone who actually longs for positive communication with you. my expectations are way more modest. you stay out of my way. i stay out of yours. you'd be wise to abide by that.

if i ever need advice on effective communication, i'll let you know.

I am more than happy to post and answer questions when I can. But please allow me some time….got a few things on my plate. Thanks

Here are your answers to the warranty question: http://www.crawfordperformance.com/about/warranty.shtml

I will work on the pump gas numbers for you Chris05STi

Bruce I have responded to your PM.

520hpSTI - sleeves do not slip by themselves. If they do 1) they will fail within miles of the new motor being run. This is caused usually by poor design or machining. If the motor lives for 100’s if not 1000’s of miles, 2) sleeves will drop if the motor was overheated, ran out off coolant and/or abused. Tell tale signs of overheating are when there is oil in your coolant or the coolant pushes out of the motor under heavy loads. If the sleeves did indeed drop from your motor I would be happy to hear how much they did drop. Can you please supply me with photos and measurements? Thanks in advance.

On a stock or 20g turbo nothing larger. Gt30/35 cars are in the extreme minority. The smaller turbos are what 98% of your potential market on these forums run/can afford.
