I am very interested in this setup, but was wondering if you guys will only be producing them with dumptubes...I mean...I live in socal, and thats just way too loud. Will you possibly be rerouting them to the downpipe(like the perrin kit)?

thanks in advance.

Lord have mercy I assume you're going to get similar power to the regular 35r, but how much better would the spool be?

AutoMaster, good stuff, period. Can't wait to see the pics.

From the shop STi to the ginormous 4" TBE you guys have...truly impressive parts.

With that said, is there anything that a twinscroll GT35r set up sacrifices to a NON-twinscroll GT35 set up? I'm a total newb when it comes to twinscroll info.

This kit is hot. I have seen it on a demo motor they had in there shop. I know the fact that it is a true twin scroll it spools alot faster then a non twin scroll. No disadvantages that I see. Quicker Spool = More Power! Another awesome job!

Quicker spool does not necessarily mean more power but it will give you more power down low because of the quicker spool with the same power up top since the turbo should have the same flow rating.

I am curious how much better the spool would be versus the single scroll version of the exact same turbo.

For you guys that don't know...

Twin scroll setups are where the header combines two cylinder exhaust ports into one, but does not combine the final two ports into one before going in the turbo. Notice the turbo above has dual inputs.

Have you seen the APS header? See how the uppipe merges 2-1 in the uppipe? That header pre-uppipe is a twin-scroll header, which is why they can make their new rotated setup with that header. Just needs a twin-scroll uppipe(same header without merging two into one) and an eWG

The advantages are better spool. Because equal length headers have longer exhaust flow, there's a small spool loss for that. However, the air flowing into the turbo isn't merging, so it flows more air into the turbo faster, giving faster spool and better turbo efficiency.

The twin-scroll GT30R interests me. 20G spooling with near 500whp on race gas capabilities. Talk about a perfect turbo!

Is this a guess, or a fact?
