The part in bold is what I'm wondering about...

I'm not trying to be critical here, but if has been tested and tested and there was such a long list before you, why are we all sitting here waiting to see results? Can't this company post some results of customers that were before you on the list or at the very least post some results from all this testing?

- Custom V-BAND Flanged Downpipe
- AMR 46mm Wastegate
- Custom Wastegate Atmospheric Dumptube
- Custom BIG MAF Intake System
- All Bolts, T-Bolt Clamps, Gaskets and Hardware"

So first off the information you provided is not correct, and 2nd your complaing about how they wont sell a product because "they will lose money on it" well of course, its a business not a charity. Its nice that you are able to do alot of the work yourself, the fabbing and what not, but remember the headaces and issues you may run into, and not to mention the fact that what your doing has not been tested, its your own version, so who knows how it will perform. The AMR kit has been used and tested, over and over. When i tried to buy the kit from them in june of this past summer, i had to go on a list and i couldnt even get in their shop until september because it was so long. But i guess you are just smarter than everyone else on that list, and the guys at Automaster. People that buy these dont just buy the kit because its "the latest and greatest" they buy it because it produces good results, because Automaster produces nothing but top quality products.

So you paid 5k, and didnt get headers, DP, gaskets, wastegate dump tube. BUT it was a better deal... YEA you value your money better than i do, because i bought something that is top quality and performs top quality, you get what you pay for.

BTW- I bought the 360, not the PS3 :-P

Don't get me wrong. I meant no disrespect at all to you or the shop. I'm just saying, you made it sound like this kit had been tested a bunch on one or more STis aleady.

Whenever you do post dyno info it is much appreciated. Thanks.

Sooooo..It's been 4 months
What happend to that update?

Common sense tells me that if the results where spectacular we would have heard about it right away.

That said, I'd still like to see something showing the benefit of this setup.
It being based off a gt30r/gt35r we should be able to see the gains from the twinscroll clearly.

Hey guys it could be possible that these are built one at a time...And not in some production sweat shop in a 3rd world country. We ran into this with our Honda HotRod setup , the Rotated setup we build for the Suby and the FrontMounted turbo kit for the Ford 6.0L Diesel Trucks. Im the only one at my facility that fabricates this stuff and I have a hard time prodiucing 2-3 kits a month as it is. Ease up... When you want something really nice and hand made it takes time. Not every shop can afford CNC Mandrel Bending machines and Robotic Tig Welders. From what I understand the APS TSR70 comes with turbo / WG / Uppipe and manifold for $4400 Retail and if the AMR kit comes with the rest of the parts for $5000 sounds like a great deal to me.

Now if I could get Rob to put a T4 flange on that manifold for my Twin Scroll GT42R for me I would be in business!

I read through that post again and I still don't see the boost charts he mentioned here.

I see no charts of any kind for this system anywhere.
Just the one post with a quoted total output on different maps and a statement that it hits "full boost at 4000-4500rpm."

"full boost" in 2 of the 3 maps was only 15-16 lbs of boost.
4000-4500 rpm for that amount of boost sounds really laggy and even at the max of 25psi if it was at 4500 rpm isn't that impressive since you can find plenty of single scroll gt35r's doing the same thing But, with just this little amount of information to go on it is hard to say if it works or not since no one has provided information that would allow us to see the advantages or disadvantages of this twin-scroll set-up.

All the questions could be answered by the boost charts and actual dyno numbers for the twin-scroll turbo that where mentioned and Is it not realistic to say if there truely is something to this set-up that it would be in the best interest of the people making it to let people know about it?
