IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (2) | Well, it appears the Cosworth heads are well worth it Other mods were: FP Red, Perrin FMIC, Perrin Modded injectors, Snow kit with "some tweaks." Perrin BigMaf, WJM TGV deletes and a few other little things. On 11 psi (staying under the meth spray) it made 330 whp. At 22 psi it made 445 whp. We were OUT of time so all we were shooting for was top end, to see where it went. With the AVC-R doing all the work (slow ramp to full boost), and NEVER spraying the FMIC, at 29 psi it made: ![]() We had planned on going to 34 psi or so, but the manager here said that if I didn't have car outside the gate in 20 minutes they were locking us in... We'll have it back on the dyno in a few weeks. The torque is low because of the AVC-R settings. It wasn't making full boost until up top, but that was all we were playing with at the moment. IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (2) | Well I made 485whp, but I am running 28psi tapering to 25psi, so essentially I am running 25psi as far as hp numbers are concerned. I havnt seen any other FP Reds on meth with an EWG that have held 28psi+ to redline before this one. All the others have either tapered down like mine (because of the internal WG), the clutch has started slipping, or it has started misfiring horribly uptop so they couldnt get final numbers. Not to put down your results because 545whp is a VERY nice number. Just adding some imput since you said this car hadnt been dynoed before the heads. |
