I installed the controller in the ashtray. It will require a Dremel but it looks great! I love this kit.

...Sorry to sound like a complete new guy, what exactly does a SMC Meth kit do? And who can do this type of tuning....on a stock turbo? Stock Fuel pump + Injectors?

It takes 93 octane, mixes w/ meth to produce about 110 octane! Basicly race full on tap. It's a great cooling agent.I use HEET for meth. And as far as the tuning, you can't go wrong w/ SS tuning!

As far as daily use, I don't ever see more than 5 psi during the week so my fuel mileage stays the same and so does driveabilty... But getting in it hard you are running a super cool fuel thru the motor,as far as long term, I don't know exactly, it would be like running race fuel every time you get on it.I would feel safer running meth while getting in it for the octane boost and the cooling principals than without and possibly deatnating...Hope that helps.

With the Meth the IDC's dropped into the low 90's.

I didn't think we managed to keep 18.8, did we? I thought near 17 was all we would do at 7k. It might have still had 18.8 at peak hp maybe... dunno, I'll have to check the logs.

The AFR's are near 10.4 from peak torque on. Stoich for meth is in the high 9's, it needs to be run rich when running a lot of meth...

post up your pump gas time slip, i just ran 12.4 w/ my smc kit. (12.71 on 93) id love to compare slips if you did that on pump!

if this is the truth youd be one of the fastest pump gas or race gas sti's in america.... now w/ the meth who knows..

as of right now the fastest stock turbo sti w/ timeslip is a 12.46@109.97 running 103 octane in my registry on nasioc. post up that slip so i can update my registry!
