Nice! Any idea if this will support close to the same amount of power as your DR525 on a turbo like the TD06-20G?

Hi Peter,

Can you explain more about why APS went with a "dual entry" design. Is there a picture showing what it looks like?

Same question here... how is this different from the old APS WRX top mount that was sold.

Interested on how it would match up with the SR40 or even the 55 if possible.

i could not seem to find the exact core dimensions on the APS site.

apart from;

At over twice the volume of the standard intercooler, the APS top mount intercooler is absolutely the largest top mount intercooler that is possible to practically install in the late model WRX or STI.

J.

I have a feeling when it states twice the size of our intercooler it must be referencing the stock WRX top mount as the application is for the wrx as well. The STi top mount is a decent size stock, so if its double the size i'd be quite shocked. I wonder if this top mount also includes modifications to the opening from the hood scoop to filter the air to the additional surface area.

This looks very nice!

As usual, I think we'd all love to see some dyno plots of stock, TBE, and 20g with and without this I/C.

And, for a bonus, the same setups with the APS DR525 front mount
