Default Stock Turbo 413wlb-ft 337whp FTW

Perrin TMIC, Perrin TBE, Perrin Inlet, and that little thing called METH (SMC, m10 nozzle, low pressure)

This is compared to a standard STi with 325 wlb-ft and 295 whp:

We have 8 passes in a row from 390 to 397 wlb-ft and 332 to 337 whp with a warm motor. The 413 wlb-ft is with the engine bay nice and cool, but it counts

Are you ****ting me....

Time to get some meth and a protune!

I know this has been brought up before, but have you ran into any problems with the meth as far as safety goes? I can't afford another engine, lol.

What do bone stock STi's hit on this dyno?

Sorry, stock STi's make right near 255 and 255 wheel on this dyno.

DP and Ecutek make near 325 and 295. Normally maxed out stock turbos get as high as 340 wlb-ft and 305 whp. My best ever stock turbo without meth was 360 wlb-ft and 324 whp. That car runs 12.4's at 109.

I figured it would be 395 335, so it was pretty close. I was surprised what it was capable of with a nice cool motor

12.4 on stock turbo, that's awesome. Congrats on the job. I need to look at getting alky soon.

This is my STi. I can not begin to explain what this car feels like now over stock. Lets start first with my previous dynos and equipment,

3-5-05
BONE Stock
253whp/263wtq

6-11-05
Perrin TBE, Perrin ECBS, Fram Air hog panel filter, Ecutek tune by SOG, 255 fuel pump
291whp/334wtq

3-24-06
Perrin TMIC, Perrin Inlet tube, Perrin MAF hose, SMC Meth Kit(tuned on Heet)
337whp/413wtq

Let me say the TQ is AMAZING. If any one was to ride in the car, i would have to pop the hood to prove the stock VF-39. The throttle is so much more responsive, than before, it feels like a new car. I'm not sure how long the turbo is going to last with this set up, but i could not imagine needing anymore power(for now that is) My hat goes off to Scott, he might be the most anal person i have ever had the pleasure of meeting, but in this line of work i think it is a plus. Again, thank you Scott

Stock air box
Perrin Maf to inlet tube
Perrin Inlet
Perrin STi TMIC
bone stock never removed VF-39
Perrin TBE
SMC Meth kit
Ecutek
Hawk HPS Pads

On the street it makes 20.5 down low and stays to about 15.8 at the top. On the dyno it almost made 21 down low. Actually, one pull it made 22 psi and 420 wlb-ft and the car loved it, but I believe that would shorten the turbo life... There is plenty of room to go up on the torque if and when the customer has the new turbo waiting. We are at like 55% wastegate duty down low, so we could certainly get more if we wanted it

The funny thing about this car was that we didn't even TOUCH the tune when we came off the street onto the dyno... with the dynapack we often have to tweak a little on the dyno as it forces an rpm/second accel rate, instead of a inertial (more power=faster accel)

I'm VERY pleased with how the car came out

SS

That torque curve looks like Mt. Everest

What's it like over 4K? Does it lose steam rapidly?
