No but they say stock should be around 210ish ... the reason my numbers are so low is I may have a leak in my inlet pipe so MZM said I could make up some lost power after doing the inlet...

The price is $275 at MRSP and should be at larger APS stocking dealers by mid Feb 06.

Peter, Does the APS SR55 have a 3" inlet on the turbo?

Pete, where can I get one right now. I'm starting a project next week which consist of an APS SR55 and a TOPSPEED Dyno tune. It would be nice to post some #'s with this inlet

Regarding TGV deletes: AFAIK, the interference is between the turbo and the sensor/motor on the TGVs. That has nothing to do with the inlet.

You are correct, sir.

The turbo itself bangs on the sensor. It could actually work fine until that banging had some effect... however once you have seen the throat that the port is forced down to in the TGV, you want it out of your car.

I hope not, I already have a silicone one in there. This one looks awesome but if I have to yank the manifold, I don't know.

it seems pretty unlikely that you would be able to work a solid pipe in there without removing the manifold. Although both ends are silicon so it might be possible.

Alright then so this still requires TGV deletes ? Would not make sense if it didn't since APS also sells the deletes ..

Still a very nice piece and I'll probably get it or whoever makes a solid piece first.

Well, that's just one of the important features. The best feature/benefit (the entire reason for the APS turbo inlet pipe development is to provide high mass air flow for the larger turbochargers or stock turbos running higer boost pressure) imho is the huge power gains when used in combination with SR 55 sized turbos as the APS turbo inlet pipe reduces the huge restriction caused by the tiny stock plastic STI turbo inlet duct, all good.

I have not checked the APS turbo inlet pipe with any Mitsubishi based turbochargers, the APS turbo inlet pipe certainly fits the stock STI IHI turbocharger and the complete range of APS SR series turbochargers.

Peter,

You didn't say specifically weather TGV deletes are still required for 3" inlet turbos when using your intake pipe. I thought the interference came between the turbo and the TGV sensor/housing. Thus, an inlet pipe has nothing to do with this and TGV deletes will still be necessary. Please comment to clear up this issue. State what the interference is and how your inlet pipe changes things.
