wow.

that's all i can say. wow. it looks beatiful. i have been waiting for more info on this piece for a long time. since it will allow me to use a 3" inlet i might have reconsider getting a standard 20G and getting the 3" inlet now. :-D

I agree with you 100%. I argued for the 2.4 and 3'' connection hoses to be included in the APS turbo inlet pipe system (against the bean counters at APS), this way guys can upgrade in the future to a larger turbo with a 3'' comp cover inlet and have the correct sized connection hose in hand for the upgrade at no extra cost, all good.

Great to hear and production for the DR 525 FMIC is scheduled for March, it's going to be a really busy year at APS.

It will take some time to ramp up production as the APS turbo inlet pipe is very time consuming to produce (lots of bending and TIG welding). The APS production should team should be on top of high volume production by May/June 06, in the interim the turbo inlet pipe will unfortunately be in a short supply situation.

wow peter, looks great. i have to say probably the best feature is being able to use it without doing a TGV delete. i know that stops a fair amount of people from doing 3'' turbo's and now they wont have that problem.

I've been bugging MZM about this inlet for weeks now, can't wait till I get my hands on this and the whole deal about not having to do TGV deletes for 3" turbos just makes this inlet that much better!

Hey guys I'm new to the forum.

So you guys are telling me that if I get this inlet I can get the 3" inlet FP Green without having to do the TGV deletes?

Also, do I need a MAF upgrade for the Green? I see many posting they have them.

Hey the numbers in your sig are they from MZM's dyno? I did 267/276 there with my 05 STi with 3" APS Turboback, 65mm APS CAI and a Protune by Mohammad. Did you ever dyno your STi stock on that dyno? I've been trying to figure out what I gained over stock but I never did a baseline.

Do you have to take off the intake manifold to install the inlet tube?
