IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2008 | UPDATED 4/6/09 Added some more products and stuff under New Developments, and pricing changes (going down). Oil Pan in the works! See pics below. New Development UPDATED 2/26/09 I just wanted to add some info here on how we have such low prices. First let me state that the quality and care that goes into the manufacturing of the parts is top notch. If anyone is ever less than pleased with the quality of any part it can be returned, no problem! Regarding costs, there are a lot of vendors that sell parts. Most vendors sell other company's parts. A lot of these parts are made overseas (Japan, China, Australia, etc..) in which case the parts go from manufacturer to distributor (rarely can you buy direct from the factory), shipped across a super huge ocean (plus additional import customs costs too) and then typically through distributors here in the USA and finally to the vendors that service you the customer. There are different iterations of this process. Some have fewer steps some have elaborate distribution networks. In either case EVERYONE along the way makes a profit. If you want to see an example of this find a Chineese company that makes heat exchangers (intercoolers) and compare the prices to the bargain basement intercoolers from a vendors here in the USA. The markup is amazing! So about the stuff I sell. It's fairly simple. I DO NOT manufacture any parts myself aside from product developments. I use a network of highly qualified manufactureres, here in the USA, that have impressive quality standards. I shop around with these vendors for competitive pricing as well. The parts are all shipped to me to be checked over again and I ship them all out to the customers myself. Nothing ships direct from my vendors. It's not always easy, but I try to keep the mindset that I am shipping these parts to go to myself and how would I want them them packed so they get there perfect. So far so good. Value, or Bang-for-the-Buck, is very important to me. Sometimes it's price, quality, functionality, service or customization. No matter what the case it's something I take very seriously. If you ever find a comparable part to one I sell, of equal or better quality, functionality, etc.., for less money, please call me out. I view competition as a good thing and if I am not providing the best value then I either need to tweak things on my end or drop the product offering. I will not sell an inferior part for more money. Of course if anyone has any further questions, comments, concerns or otherwise please do not hessitate to add the the thread or PM me. I've not been a vendors long, but have really enjoyed the experience and appreciate the kind comments from my customers. It's great to hear! from the original thread... I'm proud to announce that all of our parts are fabricated in the USA. Raw materials come from domestic suppliers, manufacturing and fabrication is all domestic as well. When I buy shop tools I only buy USA made, even though sometimes this can be a little challenging. Unfortunately, the only part I cannot source in the USA is the OEM pickup that is used on my Rugedized Pickup. Maybe someday. Last edited by killerbmotorsport; 04-06-2009 at 07:21 AM..
