Ceramic Coated Bellmouth Downpipes

We're now offering our Essentials Catless Bellmouth ceramic coated inside and out. These are application specific coatings..black outside, grey inside. They go through 2 coating processes for the different heat ranges the outside vs. inside would see. We have a couple of these instock right now with no waiting. The regular catless bellmouth uncoated runs $259, these pre-coated pipes are $389. This is basically just a pass through charge. We pay to ship it out to our coater, back to us, plus the price of the coating. When you do the math and figure about $40 worth of to-from shipping charges are baked in, your basically paying about $90 for the coating. Keep in mind there are two different coatings used and you'll realize this is a great value. I'll have a part # up on the website later tonight.

Any chance at having the fake cat shield added to these pipes?

cekeel - No. The color has to due with the heat reange of the coating. The black is used for 2000 degrees and less, the grey on the inside is a bit overkill as its for 2000+ . Your car will never proudce those types of temps of course. We also want to be able to have these in stock ready to ship rather than have a 2+ week wait that custom colors would require(if they were offered...which they are not).

JJ18Sniper - Sorry, no shield will be offered. That's only put on the metal substrate catted versions. There are shipping logistics that would make it too expensive. Taking the catless pipe from our location, shipping to our west coast shop that would add the shield, then to the coater then back to our local inventory. There would be a $60 markup just for all the shipping before the additional cost of the sheild.

No, this pipe is for 02-07 WRX and STi only. We do have a new "shorty" available specific for the 08's. We can have those coated to order for about $60(for the coating).

See this link for info and photo's of the 08 DP. They have been shipping for a couple weeks now.
