Here is a look inside the build of the Takata time attack car built by P&L motorsports, this car has already been blasting away its compition in the time attack curcuit. The driver James Elterman is such an outstanding driver and all the credit just cannot be given to the car. I will keep this updated as we get futher along in this build, also check out some of the write ups James is adding to this build.


Preparations began on May 14th. We will be shaking the car down at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Illinois at a NASA Time Trial on July 19-20. Shortly after the Takata Team will make its Time Attack debut at a Redline Time Attack at Nashville Super Speedway on July 26-27.

Engine mods will be disclosed at a later date.

The engine is in the car and the paint job is looking sick. The detailing will be done next week and the car should be ready for its debut very soon.






I will post more pics when the car has all the body parts on and in update 2 i will post the finished car.

And to think he bought that at the same time I bought my Evo. Now I'm 4 cars later and he still has that one, but it's a lot better than any of mine. Damn you James and your driving abilities.

Actually its a P&L signature series 30r .82 turbo kit, the rest will be posted once the car is finished. Believe me, you will be amazed of how sweet this car will be once its done and the best part is all the mods are all available right from P&L's online cataloge, everything is street legal.
