Have they tested bias between front/rear using the 6 piston? and using the rear kit do you lose E brake?

Brembo has tested the bias between the front and rear brake set-ups, but not as an official test. The Brembo engineers have about 10 different caliper bodies with 3 different piston combinations for each that they use in order to create their brake systems for the various applications. When I say that brake bias was tested, I mean that the engineers have put the brake set-ups that are effective and actually a performance upgrade for the specific vehicle into production because the balance of the new Brembo system falls in the bias range of the stock vehicle. This, in turn, results in a gain in performance and an upgraded braking system that will serve you well instead of hindering performance

With the rear brake kit for the 2008 STi, you actually retain the OEM e-brake

I'm sorry, I didn't see this post!!! As far as brake pads go, Brembo stocks Ferodo FM1000 and Ferodo DS3000 for use with this set-up. There are also offerings from PFC, Carbotech, and Porterfield
