We have the Intercooler cores made at one of the largest heat exchanger factories in the world. We requested the highest fin density we could get away with and it greatly increased efficiency.(Unlike the competitors) I guess we will know we have "made it" in the biz when I see a rip off of ours on ebay called SCC or something.

Aluminum piping is also available.
So, CSSPerofmance FMIC = SSAutochrome look a like?

I'm just a little confused, since your kit looks 100% like the SSAutochrome down to the FMIC mounting bracket, coolant overflow, clamps and even that BOV retention kit... my buddy had one, it didnt seal with the BPV. let me try to find pic

The core is similar design to a name brand core, as is the SSAC. Mounting points will have to be the same based on the mounting holes. That is an old picture, we are using a different overflow tank now. As far as the mounting bracket, they may be similar.

I've owned and helped install several ssac fmics. yours is identical, down to the bumper beam replacement. coincidence?

I'm not against it. it's nice that someone put together all the miscellaneous bits that ssac forgets.

As much as I dislike doing this I would hate to see someone get screwed like myself and quite a few others have.

PLEASE READ THESE THREADS REGUARDING CSS PERFORMANCE!

CSS Performance - NASIOC

CSS Performance TMIC group buy - NASIOC

My personal story begins way way back on 3/6/2008 where I order a CSS FMIC through their website after hearing about them on Nasioc. Its on back order even though I never heard a peep from them until after 2-3 emails and a PM or two. In the meanwhile I had already opened a claim via paypal. Around May I was then told it was back in stock and shipping, I figured I'd close the paypal claim (big mistake imho). I should receive it by the end of the week I was told. I was then told there was a problem with shipping and it would arrive the by the end of next week. Well its been a full month now and it still hasent arrived. I've sent two emails in the past two weeks. None of which have been answered.

As I said before I dont like doing this, but its been 3 months with very little communication. I just want to get this resolved in a civil manner. Maybe you can help me Stephen?

Honest Bob, I will bring this up with Rob today when I speak to him.

As far as the situation on Nasioc, in the first post in the newbie thread, it has been stated already that when Rob started this business up, he was by himself. He wanted to help the community out when many people including some of the complainers(not including yourself) wanted a group buy. He had 20 Top Mounts in stock and when they all sold. Many people complained that they wanted one too. He explained that he did not have any and it will be on backorder and they all were OK with it. Yes, time passed and people got mad, but as of today. There are only 2 more people that I know of that have not have theirs shipped, Hyperboarder and myboyblue, which is because they upgraded. As far as your situation, I will address it. I am on here all the time so feel free to contact me. I have no way to access the paypal account because I just started to work for him, but as some of you know, I am an upstanding member of this community and I want this company to work.

Thanks Stephen, I'll take whatever is going to be the fastest solution. Be it the FMIC or the refund. I will PM you the paypal transaction id in case you need it when talking to Rob.

Thanks, having myself on here and Chris on Nasioc will hopefully free up Rob to finally do what he does best and do the R&D and shipping. And, so all of you know, I have a full time job, so I am doing this when I am off. So, please if I don't get back to you within a few hours, I must be at work. I have access when I am not home with my iPhone, but I will not be able to answer as much.

There is a little improvement midrange, I think I have some dyno charts somewhere around here. But having a larger core will definitely help.

This is with the CSS TMIC vs the stock STI one. Same timing, same fueling, the wastegate duty cycles were tweaked a bit to maintain boost. The car has not leaned out the fueling yet, but I expect it will.

Just as a response, I agree but have confirmed that the piping and mounting are similar, meaning they probably are made in the same factory in china, but I can tell you that the core is definitely not the same. The CORE wholesale costs more then what you can buy the SSAC Kit for ($199+). So for that, I know for a fact, that the core is different on our end. Also, we offer Aluminum piping and powder-coating options, which the other companies don't offer.
We are trying to offer a good low cost effective competitor that comes with everything that you need. And with me on the boards, good sales person, that is easy to get in touch with.
