| Authorized Vendor | I happen to have a set of sportlines right here. In this config they will not, BUT I can talk to Vorshlag about getting the bits to make it work. Here's what works - The lower spool and bearing work fine. The plate works fine. To get them to fit right here's what we need - Upper perch for a 65mm or 2.5"spring Upper insert that has a larger center bore and is a shade taller on the flange. Since Vorshlag as 21 different combos of spools and perches for the various BMWs this should be little problem. |

The inclusion of a bearing for the spring perch in the rear will also help keep your rear spring more linear, too. These changes are small but definately exist. Additionally, the potential exists to run longer springs and thus have much more suspension travel, fit much wider wheels and tires, and of course, have more negative camber in the rear. These aren't just for camber. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2006 Trader Rating: (6) | Got my rear plates today. Beefy. The bearings are ginormous. They weigh a ton. If you have the fronts, you know what I mean when I say these feel like they'll outlast the car. In the event of nuclear apocalypse, they can be removed and thrown to bring down prey (assuming you've got good aim). Barring that, they're going to give you control over rear camber for a long time. How long? Well, they go on tomorrow. Mark your calendars and ask me when I'm fitty. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
