These tie rods are mainly meant for cars that already have extended ball joints, like the Zero/Sports Roll Center Adjusters. When ball joint extenders are installed on their own, excessive bump steer can sometimes occur during hard cornering. Bump steer is the change in the toe angle of the wheels as the suspension travels up and down and a certain amount of this is normal. The Zero/Sports Tie Rods fix the excess bump steer sometimes caused by extended ball joints. This is accomplished by changing the angle of the tie rods so that a correct toe angle is maintained during high speed cornering. For the best performance possible, combine these tie rods with the Zero/Sports Ball Joint Extenders.
