Mustang dyno reads low. The only things that I diddnt do to my 04 STi was headers/uppipe, inlet tube, cams and tgv delete. I plan on throwing all the boltons I can before I go with a turbo upgrade or headwork if its even need. I might be content with the stock heads and turbo maxed out around 330-340whp and 400lbft of tourque to the wheels.

Times that number by 13% and thats what it would read on a dyno jet. As far as getting more out of these mods its kinda hard to do using CA. pump 91. But trust me the car pulls hard for what it is, and im very happy with it.

I have been thinking about putting the up pipe and headers on my 08, after the AP and pro tune it. I have read some posts here about replacing the headers as a good good gain but would you sacrifice low end torque doing this mod???

I see and i bet it does pull hard, now dont get use to it very quick or you will find yourself doing more things to it. Like a buddy of mine use to say, you can never have enough power".
I really like the sound of your car sorry but i am going to have to get me one like yours, hate to be a copy cat.

After reading this I think it might make some sense. Up near and especially before the turbo exhaust is very hot, as it cools it will decrease in volume and even though the mass flow rate of exhaust will remain the same the pressure drag will be less as it cools. This is especially true for turbo cars because the energy that spins the turbo is mostly heat (plus a little back pressure) so there will be a bigger drop in temperature in exhaust.

Anyways awesome build.

I used to think like your buddy when i had my last car, until i realized how much money i had spent over a 6 year period. Even though my last car was faster than my STi... reliability is priceless. Thank you for the kind words about my car, i hope you do end up getting the same exhaust i have because you'll be very happy with it.

The maddad headers are the same manufacture and design as Tomei, but the maddad uppipe has a 45mm ID for better responce down low. I have seen some dyno plots that compair stockers vs headers and the headers dont lose anything under stock that I saw.
