IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2005 Trader Rating: (3) | Update: We received the first set of Robispec Club Sport (KW Variant 3 w/ custom valving) coilovers on Thursday. We couldn't wait to get them mounted up. First thing the car was put up on the cornerbalance/alignment rig and JC went to work. We lowered the car 1.2" in the front and 1" in the rear. Alignment was set for aggressive street. Unfortunately, we had to ditch the Volk RE30s because their 35 offset was too aggressive for this project. They could definitely be made to fit, but with the alignment this project requires and the 265 width Yokohama tires, it wasn't meant to be. We switched to a set of hollow spoke Axis Wheels - 18 x 9.5 et 55. These took a little work to fit, especially with the coilovers, but the result is quite nice. Note, we had these wheels powdercoated matte black. Yes, that 510 does have a turbo SR20 in it... ![]() More pictures available here in high-res too! IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | how much inner clearance room is there between the wheel and suspension parts? How close are you to needing to roll the fenders? looks very good. Let me know your impressions of the KW variants as I might give up my wait on Tein Monoflex for these. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Beautiful car, guys. I'm sure it's in this thread, but I couldn't find it; any specs on the wheels and tires? They're so meaty and fill the well perfect with that drop. |

| STI Driver | did you still use the 265 advan neovas do you think i will have a problem with advan rs 18x9 et 45 with 255/40/18 tires? They could definitely be made to fit, but with the alignment this project requires and the 265 width Yokohama tires, it wasn't meant to be. IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | Great work guys, top notch stuff. That white hatch looks very nice but gold needs to be on the car. White and Gold is just the cats ass. Love what you're doing and you're making this car look very appealing . . . |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | with the addition of the thicker rear sway bar. Have you given any thought on reinforcing the attachment points in that subassembly? seems the stamped sheet metal that holds the OE bar might flex and fatigue w/ the installation of the thicker bar? I just know this from experience with other makes going to a little thicker bar. Otherwise the build so far looks great! Makes me more convinced that white is the way to go |

| Junior STI Driver | very cool . BUT intercooler opening on the original bumper is too small . i'd cut it to exact intercooler size or new front bumper asap. You guys thinking about v mount in the future? that'll be HOTTT |
