IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2005 Trader Rating: (91) | my sills attach the same method, using the double-stick foam tape. I am using a high quality tape though, so it will prevent any rattling and keep out noise and moisture. If I make a design that replaces the stock sill instead of sitting on top of it, there is a chance for the sill to rattle alot. In addition, these were measured and bent to fit over the stock plastic part. I originally considered doing a replacement design, but a cover piece seems to be much easier and can still give a good appearance. I had these on my car for about 2 weeks and I always smiled when I saw them, to me they didnt feel as add-ons, but more like a nice touch. This ad is not endorsed by this member. | Authorized Vendor | It might just be me but they do look out of place. I think the concept is good Chris but I think they just do flow with the interior. You might have more interest in a sill plate like the OE offerings but have it so each person can customize them with maybe there board name or something along those lines. http://www.boomplustoys.net/images/s...or%20Sills.JPG |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2005 Trader Rating: (91) | I can do customized names on them if the buyer opts for the leather/alcantara wrapped piece. I think I might be able to stitch something into the alcantara fabric insert to read whatever they want. |

| Authorized Vendor | Chris I dont think its about cutting the stock stuff but the piece just looks out of place. Doesnt really flow with the stock sil piece. |

now, personally, that design is probably best. Because if needed you can revert to stock (hacking apart the OEM wouldnt make sense... IMO) im not doubting your work, ive seen your shift knobs, theyre great!! id buy one (if i wasnt broke lol). just tryin to give you some feedback from the community. ![]() -Mike Last edited by howboutthemapplz; 01-30-2008 at 10:11 PM. | |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2005 Trader Rating: (91) | I don't mind the comments at all! I appreciate the honesty because it helps me bring a better product to market. I am confused about how to change these to work better though. These are bent to fit exactly over the stock sill, there is no way to shape it to contour better since it contacts the sill at every flat surface for a good fit. A couple said this design was best, but other want one that replaces the stock part, which would involve cutting it b/c I can't replicate the large curved part that extends vertically up the door. Give me a week for pics of the alcantara/leather covered piece. This design will look alot better than the current one. Plus custom embroidery will be available. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2007 Trader Rating: (1) | Yea it would be better if they said STI in red lettering, with the black technica int. next to it or something and if they were cut diff. Your passenger side doesn't look bad but the shot of the drivers side looks like it doesn't flow that great. I hope someone comes up with an alternative to the insanely priced sills at fastwrx.com |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2005 Trader Rating: (91) | There is not enough interest right now on these. I am going to put the idea on hold until I can figure out something more flowing with the interior. Feel free to express your interest, but for now I will not put out the large expense to make a production run. I would need to make a LOT to make it affordable This ad is not endorsed by this member.
