Default Kartboy parts - important news!!!

I noticed that Tom has not posted this up here so I'll quote his announcement from that other board:

Due to the ever rising costs of the raw materials we had to raise the price on the droplinks. Blame it on W, Osama, Obama, or Yo Momma!

we've been making the links for almost 10 years now and never raised the price. it is a slight increase but had to happen.
Our droplinks are still one of the most modestly priced ones out there and still the favorite choice for Subaru enthusiasts.

Pricing is now as follows.

One pair (Front OR Rear) of links will now run 115.00
Pair of links(Front AND Rear) are now 200.00

Thanks again for understanding and making Kartboy one of the favorite parts on your Subaru. I know there are many choices out there.

I did not know this was coming or I would have warned people.

For those of you wondering I can tell you why this had to happen. The cost of aluminum stock has gone up considerably. Heck, we saw a 50% materials increase on a few of our thing in about a month.

Seems the military and airframers are buying up all the material, and if you think aluminum prices are going up quickly you should see the costs of carbon composites.

I would still buy another set. Just waiting for mine to wear out or break (which I don't think is really a possibility). I blame W.

oh well, what's 15 bucks when you're spending 100?

Best endlinks you can buy IMO.

Copper and tin are through the roof too. Can't overlook the building boom in China, they're sucking up resources like Homer in a vat of gravy.

As a representative of the aluminum industry I say keep using it so the price stays high.

That is all for now
