IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2005 Trader Rating: (91) | Hey guys, I need some opinions. I am going to have a large group of 2" Aluminum STi Spheres made so that I can have them BLACK ANODIZED (since I pay by the batch, not by the piece). You know what this means... GROUP BUY! I have to figure out how many I have to get anodized. How many people would be interested in either one of my 2" silver polished aluminum STi Sphere knobs or in black anodizing? Here is the brushed aluminum: Here is a photoshop of a black anodized aluminum knob: ![]() Prices are normally: Brushed silver: $89.00 shipped Black anodized: $99.00 shipped Group Buy prices will be reduced from this if we get enough interest As always, I still offer the Copolymer knobs, but this is specific to aluminum. Give me your opinions! THANKS! This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

WEIGHTS: Stock 04/05 STi knob: 69 grams Stock 06/07 STi knob: ~170-180 grams (not exactly sure) WCLW Aluminum STi Sphere: 172 grams (60% heavier than 04/05, about same as 06/07) I do not have an STi Ti knob right now, so I cannot take a pic next to that. Dimensions for this knob are: Diameter: 2.0" Height: 1.85" Height above shift lever: 0.25" (Which is slightly shorter than the stock knob) Weight: 172 grams Last edited by WC LATHE WERKS; 12-18-2007 at 02:35 PM.

| Platinum Member | Honestly I was never interested in a shift knob, but damn does that black look really nice. Sign me up for a GB. Is it the camera angle or does the color give it some serious depth? |

I can do GROOVES, but dimples would be something for a casting or mold process.Quote:
The knob should have a very nice deep black luster.

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2003 Trader Rating: (11) | As an owner of one of Chris' copolymer knobs I must say that I am excited about these His work is first-class His attention to detail is phenomenal. If you do not already own one of his shift knobs you should ask yourself, "Whats one of the coolest things for under $100 that I could buy myself for Christmas?"
