Talking New product ideas with my Milling Machine

Hey guys, just want to update everyone with my company. I'm still doing the custom shift knobs on the lathe full throttle like usual.

I just acquired an EXCELLO vertical milling machine for an awesome price! The machine was owned by a friend's business and it was basically fixed in one position and used to bore holes without ever moving the base (absolutely no wear on the parts). The machine has a bunch of gook in it so its completely disassembled right now, but my grandfather and I are going to clean it up and reassemble it better than new.

Here are some pics:

IN THE FACTORY:

IN ITS NEW HOME, after some preliminary cleaning of the turret head:

This machine is like a heavy-duty version of a Bridgeport mill, the endmill holders are much stronger and stiffer and the machine itself is built a bit thicker to keep perfect straight cuts.

When its all cleaned and ready, I'll need some new parts to make.

Can anyone think of some good stuff for the STi that I could make? I'm looking towards parts that don't have a high liability (like nothing that could kill people if it fails, I dont like lawsuits).

Maybe I have to change my company to WC LATHE & MILL WERKS

Ive got two ideas for you....

1. some new shift trims to add some flare to the c@ckpit area

2. a shift gate (like on Ferrari's) with the numbers engraved

If you decide to make these, could you possibly throw one my way as a test/advertising deal for the ideas???

Alot you can do with that though!

I have a friend who attempted a shiftgate on a Saturn Sky, and he said it didnt work because the throws were too long and it would interfere. A shift gate would also require a really nice looking lever (like those chrome-moly kartboy ones ) But i will see what I can do!

Custom hub-centric wheel spacers? Some engine dress up parts like an oil cap and stuff like that? I don't know, just throwing some ideas out there

I dunno, this is what I could think of as I sit here in the office:

1. Tow Hooks
2. Front License Plate Deletes (Have to be careful with the logo copy rights, maybe an IWSTi one?)
3. Shifter Trim
4. Key Chain
5. Engine Bay parts (Dress Ups)
6. Door Sill plates (that would be interesting!!!!)

Thats about what I could think of. Any good ones??!?!?

Those are good ideas ^^^

I bet tow hooks would sell good, there isnt a whole lot too choose from and they seem popular, and easy to make

possibly. I don't have an STi, so I would need a 6speed platform to test fit stuff that is STi-specific and wont work on my WRX
