There are VERY few people who I'd trust my car to on a road course, especially Summit Point where an off can quickly become a wreck. Last weekend at VIR I let one of the Audi Club instructors drive my car for a few laps to try to get a second opinion on working out some handling issues and I about crapped my pants Not because he was so fast I was amazed, but because he really wasn't a very good driver, at least not in my car which he was unfamiliar with. I like the idea of an auto-x type thing in a safe environment though. To be honest I've never done an auto-x but I think it would be fun to push the car to the limit with pretty much no consequences if I go too far. Plus a lot of our customers (and STi drivers in general) are auto-xers so this would be a good way of letting people experience different suspension setups from a handling standpoint, rather than just ride quality and road manners.

Oh and by the way, it was nice meeting some of you who came out to the meet. I was pretty busy the whole day with helping to make sure everything went smoothly so I didn't get a chance to talk to as many people as I hoped, but next time should be a little less hectic. I hope everyone had fun, and that my raffle announcing wasn't too boring...I felt like everyone was about to fall asleep
