Cool deal, sure can! I was in DC this past weekend and those roads really showed the limitations of these coilovers. Around here in PA, the roads make them fine, but DC really worked them for all they were worth and it drove me to park the car in the driveway and ride in my friends instead.

So I'm starting to think that road conditions can really make or break these for comfort. I'll let you experts figure it out. So far, I've found too much rebound.

OK, I'll definitely be there, and I'll try to get there right at 11 for those who want rides.

Racecomp, you guys don't by chance have scales to do corner balancing, do you?

Good... Then there will be others who have ridden on both coilover systems than just me!... <grin>

Really, I'm waiting to see if you or others get similar impressions to mine...

Hey guys,

I think I'm going to drop out. It's a bit over a 3 hour drive for me to get down there and after driving back from Rochester yesterday...ehhh....that's a lot of highway driving all wrapped together.

I hope you guys do another open house, maybe when the weather gets to be warmer?

I was impressed. Racecomp really knows how to throw an "open house". Lots of free stuff, music, games, etc. Plus, Myles was good at networking people together so that they could demo gear. I got to try out the Prodrive RB320 setup and an Ohlins FP / Racecomp Spring car. I didn't get to drive the latter, just ride, but it was awesome to have the opportunity to experience them both back-to-back. I talked a bunch with both Myles and Andrew and they're really nice guys. Both also got a demo of the new TiC Coilovers, but this obviously isn't a thread for that.

Thanks a ton, guys. I'm still said I didn't win the raffle for the RCE Yellows, though.

Thanks man. I wanted an environment that everyone could have a good time in and eat, and play some GT4p, even if it was less than 50 degrees !!

We do plan on having another event in the spring, and by then with a little luck, maybe there will be a 08 STI here, who knows.

Cheers-

myles

Likewise, and definately.

Hey, do you think you guys could work with the Capital Driving Club or one of the other local autocrossing clubs and set up a ride-and-drive event? That'd be pretty cool, I think- to allow test drives of various setups on a closed course.

It'd basically be an autocross were everyone swaps cars. They do this at the Evo driving schools, too.

Doing something like that at Summit Point would get expensive and a little... dangerous, I think. But I have no problem handing my keys over to even a rookie autocrosser.
