2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi

Incredibly powerful street car -- it’ll throw you in the back of the seat, it handles on rails, and stops on a dime. It’s also basically a turn-key race car should you choose to go that route… add a cage, rip the interior out, and it’s ready to go!

I’m the second owner.. the first owner (a good friend and also a NASIOC member) didn’t mod the car at all aside from replacing a busted crank pulley with a Grimmspeed version, so everything was added by me. I’ve spent no time racing this car, and generally get called a wuss for the way I drive it, so rest assured that this car has not been beaten upon or abused at all under my care.

Maintenance items were taken care of early, at around 90k miles… timing belt and related, water pump, oil pump and oil pickup were replaced with new items. I replace the oil at least twice a year, and really only drive it a couple thousand miles per year for the past couple of years.

I’m sure I’m missing some stuff (ask questions!), but here’s an attempt at a list of improvements.. I’ve spared no expense and put a ton of time/energy/money into this build.. I love the car and the results of all the work, but after driving it around town for a couple of years (only during the summer.. garaged for the winter), it’s time to move on.
