And the new rear diff bushings will be ready for sale, when? Feel free to PM me the second they're released, as my paypal payment won't be far behind!

Soon.

Tony and I have a little more testing to do, and then we actually have to get the full run done. Turns out I was a bit premature in stating that the first production run was done. What was done was the tooling samples to double check sizing (which was enough for 6 sets). Next time I'm out of town, and the wife calls to say that parts came in, I will be sure to ask how many instead of assuming that all of them arrived.

Threw a set on Tony's WRX today just to test fit and noise. They work just as well there as on an STi. One of the nice things is that these will fit MANY more models of Subies than just the STi.

Bah and Ol'Salty - I know we still owe you guys an install, and I promise I have not forgotten about you. Schedules have just been really tight. Let's see if we can work something out for the month of July.

Count me in. Who knows, maybe it'll help the "CLUNK"!

Hey Chris - If I remember correctly you were getting the low speed clunk when on and off the throttle. I don't think these will help with that, as we made them to eliminate the high speed/high RPM clunk instead.

Honestly, after having your rear diff checked out, and everything in spec I'm wondering if maybe your rear sub-frame is perhaps shifting. Have you checked that out?

Well, I was actually interested in the bushings for their intended purpose as well.

I'm searching for anything at this point. I almost wish i could put one of those micro cameras under my car so I could figure out what the hell is going on. How would one go about checking if the subframe is shifting?

2 things:

1. Clint thanks for the reminder about the install. No hurry here. I'm dealing with an exhaust fitment issue, but July looks pretty good. Again, no hurry.

2. Anyone notice how TiC told a customer that a product was not worth buying since it wasn't designed for the specific problem? I dont know about the rest of you, but i can name some vendors whohave misled people one time or another.

*Thumbs up*

If I had to take a first stab at it here's what I would do.

SAFELY get the back of the car into the air on full ramps (be sure to block the front tires so, and put the car in gear so it doesn't roll forward). Do not use jackstands or a lift as you will be shoving on the car, and you don't want it falling off.
Sit behind the car and put your feet on the rear subframe that the mount attaches to. Give it a few good shoves with your feet and see if it makes any noise.
If it does then have a buddy watch the subframe for shifting while you do this.

If this seems to be the problem let me know where it's coming from and I'll see if I can figure something out.

Brett - thanks for the kind words.

We don't have super tricked out show cars with every part under the sun on them, and we're not rich. Our R&D cars are daily driven, and HAVE to be able to get us to our day jobs every single day (and still race on Sundays). Because of this we buy parts just like you guys - one at a time, and on a budget. Just like everyone else we've been disappointed by some vendor's claims on parts, and just like everyone else we did not like it one bit. This is why we try and be as straight forward, and open about our parts as possible.

In anticipation of the rear diff bushings going up on the site (any day now) we've put up the first draft of the instructions. Have a look so you know what you'll be getting in to. If you have any suggestions for them just let us know.
