In addition we are getting really close to going into full production for our rear diff bushings, and we're trying to talk Kartboy into making something for the STi that I'm sure lots of folks will be interested in.

Oh, and we are slowly getting closer to the first TiC swaybar.

Do you have any prototype pics of where these bushings will be relocated and what they will replace?

Default rear shifter stay

Ditto ^^^

Anyone have a pic showing exactly what part this replaces in the shifter assembly? What's the advantage of switching this out? I got a great deal on the factory Subaru STi short-shifter assembly and will be changing over my KB SS/bushings, adding the TiC bushings and would like to add this as well, if it will make any difference (since it will be out of the car, anyway). Anyone with info? Nothing on the kartboy site besides the price.

Here's a pic of Kartboy's prototype. The effect will be a better feel in the stick especially when you snap the stick up and down into gear. it should eliminate that last bit of squishiness when the stick reaches the end of its' travel.

Here is what it replaces:

And another pic on the car (sorry about the mud):

Thanks for the pic. I think I'll order it and add my feedback on the entire short-shifter set up. When I'm finished, I'll have the factory short-shift assembly, Kartboy SS lever, bushings, TiC bushings, and (soon, I guess) the rear stay bushing. I think that's about as tight as we'll be seeing the factory assembly. I'll let everyone know my impressions in a week or so.

Cool. I ordered 30 sets from kartboy today, and I know he got a pretty good number of them made in the first batch, but I expect they will go fast.

Will you be able to instal them by just removing thos two bolts? Will that give you enough room to work to get the new bushing in?

Tony and I will be spending some time on the install, and will be putting some instructions on the site.

As for pricing - if you are getting just the bushing the price is the same as what Kartboy offers. We are obligated to that due to our vendor agreement with him. Shipping we control, thus we can save you a few there.

The reason we can do the kits with better pricing is because we are taking a hit on our bushings to make up the difference, and not violate our agreement with him.

Sorry guys, Nevik busted me for not having a vendor acct. I guess I pushed it too hard for too long without one. I'm going to lay low on this until I get one. Hopefully an admin sends me the new vendor registration info soon.
