You guys are going to laugh, but when we did the motor mounts on my roommate's Eclipse (this was before I got my 3' Breaker Bar), we couldnt find anything, so we slid vacuum extension tube over the ratchet, and that broke the bolt loose. The thing was PLASTIC!

Lol, I found a 3' breaker bar at Harbor Freight for $7.

My favorite pair of them that I have used for years now is a set of ceiling fan down rods. The extension tubes to drop your ceiling fans lower.

They work great over my 1/2 craftsmen breakers and ratchets. I have one that is 12" and another that is 24".

Best part is they are "brushed nickel" and look like any other tool. I have been asked several times where I got them from.

That is my recommendation, and you can get them from any home depot in any metallic finish they offer. Don't rust either, or rather don't seem to.

The only thing I've used a cheater bar for was the bolt on the crank pulley. That thing was a b%^&h. 24" piece of pipe works well anyhow.

whatever you do, NEVER use a cheater bar on a torque wrench, OR a ratchet wrench of any kind. breaker bars only!
