| Amateur STI Driver | I had an chance to get an amazing deal on some winter tires. Basically brand new Blizzaks for real cheap. Problem was the tire size. Will a 225/55R/17 be okay on our stock BBS? According to tirerack.com Blizzaks come in either 50R or 55R. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

| dances with roads | WS-50's are okay if you see A LOT of snow, but they may be too much of a "winter" winter tire for you. The tread rubber is quite soft, downright squirmy on dry roads. And the sidewalls quite flexible. Higher sidewalls will flex even more. Speaking for myself, I'd stick with H-rated or V-rated winter tires unless I lived where there is snow on the roads most of the time. This ad is not endorsed by this member.
