Should be fine, but what offset are you running on your wheels?

good thread, and I also have a question for you knowledgeable peeps!

i have a Stance GR+ pro suspension, not to much lowerd, 14" from center of wheel to fender up front and 13.5" in the rear. the car is set up for STU, so I am wanting the max 245 width tire. I have a +45 offset I think. Sound good to all? I would love to go wider like 275 and run SM (but I cannot afford Slicks and summer tires at the moment), but then I would have to run my other wheels that are 9" and I am pretty sure they will rub on the coilover.

imput?

Just thought I'd throw my hat in the ring

I just bought kumho ecsta mx 245/40/18 extreme summer performance tires

They are wrapped around rota formula mesh 18x8.5

No rub anywhere at anytime. The V style tread pattern is awesome and they

look great from all angles.... I had considered an RE01R but they were too

expensive for tires that will wear out pretty quick, and I believe the kumho

tires are just as quality. The competing choices for me were RE01R and Yoko

advens and kumho's....

I dont regret my choice at all ( plus they were 140 a piece!! )

what suspension are you on, if not stock? Are you any lower than stock ride height? I know on stock ride height, I will be fine, just worried about rubbing on the actual coilover. And i run about -3 degrees camber so my tires usually tuck in a little from the fender!

I was against the 245/40 for a bit... but now i am running a 245/40 on a 8.5 and I have tons of room.

I wish i went w/ a 9 and a 265/35 i really think it will fit no prob in the right offset...

Edit: I have noticed a bit of a decrease in braking performance.
