Default new wheel help plz!

Hi guys, I just joined here and this is my first post. I have a couple questions on what set of wheels I should get for my 04 blue STI. My choices are as follows:
Work Emotion CR 18x7.5 Gunmetal
Falken Torque 5 18x7.5 or 8 black
Tenzo Mach 10 18x8 Black, but I would have to get a wheel spacer
The New Tenzo DC-5 18x8 black or gunmetal

plz help me out on which wheel would be best for me, and also if you guys have any other suggestions let me know. Volks are a possiblity, but money is tight.

My biggest concern on the mach 10s is that it won't cover the break calipers, so if anyone has information on that, let me know

why are those your only choices?

please don't run Tenzos on an STi, and the Falken Torques weigh 25 lbs at least.

the 18x8.5 +48mm 5zigen FN01RC is an inexpensive option kinda heavy but they are an inch wider than stock

the Emotion CRs are a good choice although heavy.

what kind of wheel are you looking for and what suspension are you running?

Why not run Tenzos on the STi? I am new to the whole wheel system, other than not clearing the breaks, I am clueless. I knew the Torque 5s were heavy but they were just an option. What would be some other good choices for wheels? I don't really like the FN01RCs, but I am really interested in the VOLK CE28s.

thanks for the help

People always told me if I am going to spend the money make it worth it and don't go heavy. With that being said, I went with Advan's, which are not cheap and still weigh around 17lbs. My suggestion to you would be to post pics so people don't have to look up each wheel. State weight is not an issue if it is not and find the sticky on wheel pics. A lot of good pics in there to assist you on what looks best. A majority of places selling wheels state if they will clear brembos and make sure to pay attention to your bolt pattern. Your bolt pattern is not the same as the 05+ STI's out there. Also, Work Emotions are a cheap option that a lot of people like. Volks will cost you some cash. For what it is worth.

the wheel options you mentioned are all cheap, heavy, pos rims in reality.
buy yourself some volks, gramlight, advan, prodrive, etc.

Yeah, cruise the wheel pics sticky thread and the vendor sale forums (they always have pics) and find some styles you really like. Then decide what's more important: weight, look, or price.

CE28n = sick sick sick.

GramLight 57fs are also good, and the bronze looks good on WRB.

well if you've got the budget for a set of 2500 wheels you should be looking at 2500 quality wheels.

Tenzo is a crap knock off company they might have been ok on a civic but not on a 30k STi.

CE28Ns are awesome, light, and have god fitment.

you're looking for an 18 i assume.

what will you be using the car for?

Ok I understand where all you guys are coming from. I just liked the way the tenzos looked. I I really like the CE28Ns but that is a serious investment, which I think would be worth it. I am looking for an 18x8 wiht about 45mm offset. I was liking the emotions cr kais by Work, but everyone says they are heavy. Also, I can't find a good picture of a blue 04 STi with the gunmetal emotion cr kais, so if anyone has one let me know. I'm just tuning the car right now and I will be trying to get it sponsored so I can get it into shows and such. If anyone has anymore help let me know and I appreciate everyone who has helped so far.

its a realistic goal, I plan to make the car sick this summer. I can't wait for the snow to melt so I can get the new wheels and go from there.
