IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | alright guys, my kumho's are pretty much done so im gona get some new shoes for the car and was wondering if any of you had any thoughts about the bfg kdw 2's . . . Almost if not all the reviews on tire rack are really good, and 125 per tire is as high as the price will go for me too. One last question, im running 215/45/17 on my wrx with rotas that are 7.5 inches wide. will a 225 or 235 /45 setup fit without any rubbing issues? Thanks in advance. IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2004 Trader Rating: (2) | I went w/ these for my summer shoes this year due to high feedback from magazines and tirerack. I have yet to use them but do believe the biggest complaint is that they may be a tad loud? |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | I've also heard they are very loud... can't be louder than the stockers though... I love that tread pattern on the kdw2's so I'd also like a definete answer.. |

| Professional STI Racer | ya i had the stock potenza's for exactly a year until i got the kdw2's. i drive it pretty hard so after a year the potenza's were gone. this past year with the kdw's i drove it as hard but i have half my tread still on the tire. i just dont like the prices for the tires. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | I have the BFG KDW's on my Sti and I absolutely love them.. They are so quiet compared to the Potenza you think your floating... Also they are very good in rain.. (Don't know about the snow If it snows the STi is under its car cover and the Wrangler is loose). The price was right too i got'em at Costco.. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2004 Trader Rating: (2) | I finally had a chance to put my summer set on yesterday with these tires and love them. My only complaint is that they take in a ton of rocks and fling them all around. The treads look mean as hell and I personally don't think they are loud considering my exhaust is a lot louder.
