IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | So im going up to the mountains today for some snowboarding. I am in So-cal and finally we're seeing some snow!! (be it 5-7 inches) I have falken azenis, not the best prep tires for snow, or rain so i've heard. But again, im not going to be racing up the mountain. Should i bee ok? or am i asking for trouble?? what would you do?? should i just take my gf's beater up there? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

| STI Driver | If you have those tires, i would put chains on the car just incase it is icy. I change out my wheels and tires when i go up to big bear to go snowboarding. typically you do not need chains to go up the mountain but if you have summer tires on your car it might not be a bad idea. |

I have Proxes 4 and I have read that the Ziex are a bit better in the snow and the 4s. Also heard this from the Suby Dude himself as he has had both. Take it easy on the gas and give yourself plenty of room to stop and you will be fine. |
