IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2004 Trader Rating: (2) | I went with these for my summer tires this year and we just got a foot of snow. In other words, I have no idea how good they are, but they got good reviews. Should be a couple of weeks before I know for sure. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2005 Trader Rating: (12) | I had these on my first set of wheels. I honestly wasn't impressed. Traction was about the same level as the RE070's but they were so noisey it was distracting. I wouldn't purchase them again. |

What kind of mileage are you getting out of a set? I looked them up and they seem pretty mean, and they meet the SCCA "Street tire" classification How do they do in the rain ect.?

I have heard better things about the Eagle F1 GSD3 for a tire that is good in the rain. The downside of it is that the sidewalls are like marshmallows. Ill let you know how they are in the rain within the next couple weeks, cuz I guarantee that it will rain here sooner than later.

| Moderator | I got them mounted and balanced this morning but not installed (still on my winter tires and stock BBS's) because there was talk of snow tonight. I got home and the temps were about 45* and the weather called for a low of 37 so I went ahead and installed them. I put about 65 miles on them and we did get some rain, very little but enough to get the ground wet. Grip was very acceptable IMHO. Better than MANY all seasons I have driven on. The car does seem to have more of a tendency to plow with these as compared to the stockers and my winter 225/45/17 Nokian RSi's. But not so bad that I cant get rotation out of it. I cant wait to rip up the mountain passes this summer... This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
