IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2006 Trader Rating: (3) | Hey, I am looking at these rims, they are 5 X 114.3 ET35 and are 17X8 rims. I have read thru some of the fitment posts, but I am a little confused on whether these will fit my 06 STI or not. The guy selling them has them on his 05 STi so I know they will go on my car, but I don't know if that offset is correct or not. Does anybody know if these will fit correctly? IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2004 Trader Rating: (7) | the 18x8.5 is available in +48mm which is good for a street car. 17x8 +35mm isn't a good size considering you could run a 17x9 +43mm and be in the same situtation (rubbing rear fenders) why do you want to run a 17x8? |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2006 Trader Rating: (3) | Its not that I really want to run 17X8 all that bad. The guy selling them is giving me a pretty good price and thats just what he has. So will these wheels for sure rub in the rear fenders on my car? |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2004 Trader Rating: (7) | it's a waste of money. unless they are $50, but then you'll need to buy tires that are too small as it is and you'll be stuck running that size tire forever (if you're running those wheels). not worth it. you'll need to run a 225/45 and you'll need lots of camber not to rub. |
