Default 17x8.5 or 17x9?

I'm moving to STU this season and I'm still debating on which size wheel to go with on stock suspension. From what I have read, the 17x9's should be fine. When/if I do get coilovers I will buy them based on my wheels so should I go with 5Zigen FN01R-C with +43 offset or go with an 8.5" rim?

I would want at least a 9" wheel for STU.
