Question Nitro Fill

I decided to try out nitro fill today but I am wondering if I should use a different tire preassure. It is set to 36/30 psi on 235/45/17.

Any suggestions?

I don't see why. The purpose of using the nitro is because it does not expand, no change in pressure due to heat so I would think you would be fine.

isn't the air you put in your tires already roughly 75% nitrogen?

i think it can be a good idea, but remember, no matter what u put in, remember to have good tires, wheels, and valve stems. i work for a major auto company and i cant tell you how many cars i see come in, with the green rubber band or valve stem cap(showing it has nitrogen in it) with leaks coming out of the beads and valve stems cuz the tire companies didnt clean the wheel lips off and install new valve stems so if u get it make sure u have brand new tires and that they install new valve stems and clean off the wheels.

i still don't see the point.

it isn't easily accesible for small changes (if neccessary)

and is it really worth the extra money for 25% more?

most companies give 20% more free, so technically we should only pay for the 5% increase in nitrogen which would mean we only have to 5% over free, which ends up being......ahhh screw it. it's pointless.

It's not so much that Nitrogen doesn't abide by the gas laws and does not expand due to heat. Dry air would be fine too. The trick is to get DRY air. Unless a shop has a really nice dryer for their compressor there will be water in the air and H2O vapor expands and contracts a LOT with temperature swings.

I heard and read good things about and just wanted to try it out. PSI does stay the same after a 45min highway drive if FL. I guess the main advantage is the lower temp. Plus it is a one time fee and everything else after that is free.

Nitrogen still expands, just not as much. You'll get more consistent tire pressures. I used to use it when I karted.
