| Grassroots STI Racer | I decided to try out nitro fill today but I am wondering if I should use a different tire preassure. It is set to 36/30 psi on 235/45/17. Any suggestions? | Professional STI Driver | It's not so much that Nitrogen doesn't abide by the gas laws and does not expand due to heat. Dry air would be fine too. The trick is to get DRY air. Unless a shop has a really nice dryer for their compressor there will be water in the air and H2O vapor expands and contracts a LOT with temperature swings. |

| Grassroots STI Racer | I heard and read good things about and just wanted to try it out. PSI does stay the same after a 45min highway drive if FL. I guess the main advantage is the lower temp. Plus it is a one time fee and everything else after that is free. |

| STI Driver | Nitrogen still expands, just not as much. You'll get more consistent tire pressures. I used to use it when I karted. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
