The stock tires can last up to 25k+ miles depending on how you drive. The tire you choose should depend on how you drive and what you use the car for (Daily-driving, AutoX, etc). If you liked the way the RE070's performed and see absolutely no snow, pick up another set, or go with some Falken Azenis RT615's. If you felt their performance was subpar in wet conditions go with some performance-oriented All-Seasons, such as the Pirelli PZero M+S, Toyo Proxies 4, or something similar.

the michelin pilot sport A/S and the Goodyear F1 GS-D3s were great tires for me when I lived in Mukilteo. I had the GS-D3s siped by discount and they worked great in the snow too. I liked the stiffness of the michelins better than the goodyears, but the goodyears were the better rain tire. The new Bridgestone RE960AS or the Pirelli P-zero-nero M/S look like great tires too!

Goodyear F1 GS-D3s +12345

their wet traction is AMAZING but the dry is so-so for a "performance" tire.
